Sato Beni Shoten - Yuzu Marmalade

JPY 700

A delicious marmalade made with the whole pulp of ripe yuzu grown in Okayama Prefecture. It won a silver medal at the 2023 Bread Companion Championship. The packaging and name are inspired by a white cat that lives in the Fukiya area where the sato beni shoten store is located.

The star of this product is the yuzu pulp. The seed-rich yuzu pulp is manually removed one by one, and then soaked in hot water to remove the bitterness. Once the bitterness has been removed, the juice and peel are added, and the mixture is finished with granulated beet sugar from Hokkaido. A satisfying marmalade made with a focus on domestic ingredients.
