Our stay here was one of the highlights of our trip. A truly beautiful space to stay, lovely quiet village surrounded by trees and rivers. It’s a unique experience and makes a great change from hotels. Highly recommend to include this in your trip.

What a beautiful beautiful place ! I left Akitsu Ryokan feeling rested, inspired, and most importantly wanting to come back. Nikita is a lovely host and is so talented, having imagined and brought to life this magical ryokan. Bonus points for the delicious breakfast and coffee !

All amenities are clean and comfortable and the bathtub is such a delight with an amazing aroma from the timber.
We stayed 3 nights and next time we will stay at least 4 as it is truly an incredible area to stay in and slow down away from the busy cities.
