Takazawa Candle - Ipponsugi

Founded in 1892, Takazawa Candle has been crafting traditional Japanese candles in Nanao, Noto, Ishikawa for generations.

The Ipponsugi candles are made entirely from natural haze wax, paired with a small cast iron Koma candle holder.

Each candle is individually wrapped and housed in a paulownia wood box, creating a quiet, refined presentation that reflects the craftsmanship and material honesty of Japanese candle making. Made using haze wax derived from the fruit of the haze tree, the candles burn with a gentle, steady flame and a soft natural glow.

The set includes nine No. 1.5 candles and a small Nambu cast iron candle holder designed to be used and appreciated as part of a daily ritual, whether for moments of calm, evening light, or thoughtful gifting.
